New Clients
If you are new to Hands on Health you can simply sign up for an account and book immediately. You will be asked to provide a credit card number upon booking, this is not a pre-payment, your card will only be charged in keeping with the cancellation policy.
It is recommended to have a 60 minute treatment for your first visit.
If you are a client who has had a recent MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) and you wish to have massage therapy care for your injuries, do not book your first appointment online. Please call our office as there are special procedures we must follow and forms that must be filled out.
Please note that no one can see the appointments you book except you and the staff of Hands on Health Massage Therapy. Others will only see your appointment time is not available.

Your first visit, what to expect:
When you book your massage you will receive an email confirmation and intake form which should be filled out BEFORE you arrive for treatment. This information will help us better determine how to treat your condition. If you have any questions regarding the intake form, please let your therapist know when you arrive. Completing your intake form prior to arriving means you will have more time for treatment.
When you arrive your therapist will greet you and bring you into the treatment room. Your therapist will then ask you about your goals for treatment, and if needed ask you a few questions about your health history, and/or do some short assessments (tests) to get a more clear picture of your condition.
Your treatment will take place in the time remaining after this brief interview. Your massage therapist will exit the room to allow you to change in privacy. During treatment, your body will remain fully covered by the sheets and blankets on the massage table, except for the specific area being treated at that time. Be aware that you may request changes to your treatment at any time; it is important to let your therapist know if you are uncomfortable with any part of the treatment. If you have any questions, you can ask them before treatment starts, or at any time during or after the treatment.
When the treatment has ended, the therapist will leave the room again so you may get dressed. Once you have come back into the waiting area, we will get your feedback on the treatment and advise you of any self-care you may need to do to help your condition.
