Melissa Beals, BA, RMT

Having graduated and been registered following an intense 2200 hour Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy program in Cambridge, Ontario, I have settled in Ottawa to begin my practice.

My passion for massage therapy is to help moms-to-be and new moms with their ever changing bodies. After completing an intensive prenatal program and training at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, I have developed many skills which help me understand the complexities and challenges of massage and pregnancies.

Through my training, I am well practiced in Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, Hydrotherapy, Deep Tissue Work, PNF Stretching, Fascial Release, Joint Mobilization, Pre- and Postnatal Massage, and Infant Massage.

I am an active person who loves all things cardio - running, biking, and rollerblading are some of my favourites. I strive to share this enthusiasm with clients to aid in a more healthy and active lifestyle.
